The Vermonter Silk Mask
Vermont "coppers" were coins issued by the Vermont Republic until Vermont's admission to the United States in 1791. Like the patina on a lucky copper penny, our silk mask glows with shades of bronze, russet, carbon, and verdigris. Wear this mask with anything from mundane khakis and mittens to gold hoops and a kaftan. Show up unimpressed. Take off early in case the stove at home needs to be stoked.

ABOUT OUR MASKS
Each silk mask is one of a kind. Our fabric is hand dyed by artist Laura Kozaitis who fuses traditional and modern dying techniques to achieve her signature designs.
Your mask was sewn in Queens, NY by a small group of women; many of whom are mothers that have been hard hit by the recent pandemic. Collaborating with Silk Road Spaceship provided them the opportunity for independent enterprise through fair wages, as well as the safety and flexibility to work from home.
Poets have lauded silk luminous wearability for thousands of years . Ideal for keeping your aerosols to yourself, silk is strong, wrinkle resistant, naturally antimicrobial, and dries quickly.
Wash your mask by hand or machine on a gentle cycle in warm water with a mild detergent. Skip the dryer. Lay flat to dry. You’ll be ready to fly again in no time.
