Tushita Blossom Silk Pongee Pillow
  • Tushita Blossom Silk Pongee Pillow

When a famous lama named Tara Rinpoche was preparing to die, His Holiness the Dalai Lama came to see him. Rinpoche took great comfort in the visit and advised him to take a leisurely tour of "Tushita Heaven" before reincarnating to continue his work among human beings as a teacher. We picture Tushita Heaven to be filled with blossoms of all color and dyed a generous cut of silk pongee in a mandala of opening petals. Shades peach, dusty rose, china blue, gold, and violet bloom in this happy pillow. There are only two available, and each is backed with heirloom, mustard gold wool and finished with an antique bronze zipper. The listing price is for one 14" x 14," and includes an insert. Note that the blue stipe pillow in photos 2 and 3 is not for sale.
