Trust us. You are going to want at least one Kantha-Kimono. These lovely, printed cotton jackets are versatile, reversible, and fun to wear. Each is quilt-stitched and sewn together from repurposed cotton saris by women who are part of an Indian cooperative. Cut to an easy dropped-shoulder shape with side pockets that can be pulled through to the other side, making it reversible. Each is unique, varying in pattern and color.
The Hibiscus Gold Kantha-Kimono jacket has a gorgeous print with gold and red blooms on a soft, citrus-green background. The reverse side flows with turquoise, gold, and lavender roses for terrific contrast. This jacket looks lovely with wide-leg jeans, rumpled white linen, and birks.
