For our Blue Forest Floor Kimono, the artist pressed copper-painted maple leaves onto silk dupioni drenched in cobalt dye. The result is a bewitching garment you can wear anytime you want to cast a spell. We love it with a black turtleneck and denim downtown as much as a bathing suit, poolside. A contrasting crepe belt picks up the lovely leaf prints.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION:

Reduce, reuse, relax. It's the SRS mantra, and we are always dreaming up new ways to reincarnate cloth and strengthen the social fabric of our communities. The latest offering in our T-1 collection of upcycled garments is the perfect summer solution to looking pretty, inside and out. The silk in our Forest Kimono collection is vintage Thai dupioni with a marvelous 'slubbed' texture. Sewn by our sewing collective in Queens, these robes will make you feel pretty and happy to be a part of the ethical fashion scene.
